I thought that this would be a good idea just so people can see the details of The Gang :]

How to explain the history of The Gang? It’s a toughie…
I guess the best way to begin is at the beginning of grade nine, when everything began to work out.
It all began when Katrina, Marlene, Liberty and Pedro all decided to join the Robotics club – all deliciously out of character for the four of them. And, as luck, or fate, would have it, they were the only four members. In prepping for the robot-fights, building the robot, the team’s website, they all became good friends and their friendship carried on even when the team was disbanded in December because their coach couldn’t handle them anymore.
So Kat, Marz, Liberty and Pedro became their own sortof “clique”. Sitting together at lunch and in class, Laughing it up, becoming closer and closer.
And at the same time, James, Steve, Frank and Stefan became good friends, though their friendships took awhile longer to form because they didn’t have the advantage of a super-cool Robotics team to bring them together. But, with time, they created their own clique too.
And so, there were two little “misfit/outcast” cliques at the same time. Marz became average friends with Stevey because they took a small course together with only four people in the class. Kat and Pedro became good friends with Frank, and Liberty was one of the only people that could tolerate Stefan, but the two groups still didn’t conjoin because everyone was really only close with one other person in the group, and James “the leader” of the boys’ group wasn’t really close to any of them
It was really only in the camping trip at the school in May that the magic happened. Marz, Liberty and Stefan were all sitting on “Chapel Point” – at the campgrounds, an area respected by all members of the school when Steve and James came up to them, and the five of them started talking. In that first day of camping alone they all realized that they were to become close friends – especially Marlene and James, who hooked-up that night and were the cause of scandalous rumors throughout the school.
But, despite the rumors, the five of them, Marlene, James, Liberty, Steve and Stefan all sat on the Point and discussed life, the universe and everything with a hint of their trademark humour. And when the camping trip ended? Their friendships remained and when they came back to school, the two sub-cliques all sat together and joked together… and suddenly? They were, and still are… The Gang
